The Conflux is Endless Ragnarok's single-player roguelite endgame alternative. Designed for skyfarers who prefer solo play over matchmaking, it offers randomized multi-stage dungeons with unpredictable enemy compositions, treasure rooms, games of chance, and rare encounters. Each run grants materials for weapon enhancement, seal upgrades, and character development at a faster pace than traditional quest farming.

Developers positioned Conflux as the fastest catch-up path for new players and returning veterans alike. Director Tetsuya Fukuhara specifically highlighted repeated Conflux runs as the optimal way to reach Endless Ragnarok content quickly.

Access Conflux through mysterious portals in Seedhollow Backstreets or Tredame Sanctuary. Each survey presents randomized locales with different mission objectives. Completing an objective opens new portals to deeper areas. HP and consumables carry across stages within a run, but Conflux-specific buffs reset between surveys.

Special non-combat stages include pure treasure chest rooms and rare monster encounters. Reaching the deepest point of an area triggers a boss fight; defeating it officially ends the survey and awards bulk progression materials.

Complete surveys to earn Resonance or Conflux Points. Spend these to start new dives with supercharged abilities or purchase mid-run buffs during exploration. Conflux-specific permanent upgrades make subsequent traversals more efficient, creating a meta-progression loop within the mode itself.

Solo players benefit most. If you dislike co-op matchmaking or want efficient material farming without relying on veteran allies, Conflux is your primary endgame loop alongside Chaos quests. The Backup Character system complements this by letting you borrow powerful developed characters from other players for standard quests while you build your own roster through Conflux.
