Conflux Auras and Buff Selection

Complete Conflux Aura guide: Calamity and Chaos auras, CP shop rerolls, Dexterity's Way, and Resonance upgrades.

How Auras Work

Auras are run-only buffs exclusive to The Conflux—the heart of its roguelite loop. After clearing each stage, you pick one of three random Auras active until the survey ends. Each Aura falls into a category (attack, defense, shields, gauge generation, and more). The key is choosing Auras that synergize with your team rather than chasing the biggest number in isolation.

Stacking attack, critical rate, and supplementary damage works well for DPS comps. Grabbing a shield-defense Aura when nobody on your team applies shields wastes a pick. Plan around your character kits and AI companions before each selection.

Calamity and Chaos Auras

Calamity Auras offer powerful buffs that often outshine regular picks—but attach a severe temporary debuff in return. The debuff expires once certain conditions are met. Running a Dexterity's Way stage is the fastest way to clear Calamity debuffs, making it a high-priority route when you took a risky Calamity pick early in a run.

Chaos Auras grant bonus abilities, sometimes letting your team inflict status ailments it otherwise could not—Poison, Paralysis, and more. Grab Chaos Auras whenever they appear; the extra ailment access opens new synergy chains with Summons and Master Traits in deeper cycles.

Conflux Points and the Limbo Shop

At Limbo's Way, you can purchase Auras with Conflux Points (CP). A direct Aura purchase costs 1,000 CP—expensive. The smarter play is to renew the shop list for 100 CP and keep rerolling until a three-star Aura appears. Community guides from launch week consistently rank list renewal over direct buys as the best CP investment.

Separate from run Auras, the persistent Resonance tree at Tredame Sanctum grants permanent team-wide buffs exclusive to Conflux. Invest Resonance Points here for long-term farming speed—gauge efficiency and traversal upgrades pay off across hundreds of surveys.

Recommended Aura Priority by Cycle

  • Cycle 1 (~1,500 power minimum): Survivability first—HP and damage reduction until patterns are familiar
  • Cycle 2: Gauge generation and skill cooldown for sustained clears; grab Chaos Auras for ailment access
  • Cycle 3–4: Damage amps and supplementary damage stacking; use Dexterity's Way to clear Calamity debuffs between combat routes

Frequently Asked Questions

Do Auras carry over between Conflux runs?

No. Run Auras expire when a survey ends. Only Resonance tree upgrades persist permanently.

Should I buy Auras or reroll the shop?

Reroll for 100 CP until a three-star Aura appears. Direct purchases at 1,000 CP are rarely worth it.

How do I remove Calamity debuffs?

Complete a Dexterity's Way stage—the fastest debuff clear route in any Conflux survey.
