Co-op Summon Rules
How four-player co-op shares Summon gauge, slots, and Primal Burst coordination in Endless Ragnarok.
Shared Gauge Mechanics
The Summon gauge is shared across the entire party in co-op. All players contribute through Link Attacks and Skybound Arts. Communication determines whether to pool gauge for one expensive primal or chain multiple lower-cost invocations. Each subsequent Summon costs one less, rewarding sequential deployment planning.
Slot Distribution
Each joining player claims one Summon slot from the host. Four players equals one Summon each. In smaller groups, the host retains additional slots. You benefit from passive traits on all equipped Summons but may only actively invoke your assigned primary slot in full parties.
Primal Burst Coordination
Primal Bursts require all four members to use Skybound Arts during Link Time. This is the highest co-op skill check in Endless Ragnarok—coordinate burst timing before committing gauge to individual Summons. Teams that master Primal Bursts trivialize mechanics that wipe uncoordinated groups.
Crossplay across PS4, PS5, Steam, and Switch 2 means diverse party compositions. See crossplay guide for platform notes.
