Assist Mode and AFK Farming Guide

How to AFK farm Conflux and quests in Endless Ragnarok using Full Assist Mode, Conflux Idling Behavior, and optimal character picks.

Full Assist Mode Expansion

Ver. 2.0.2 dramatically expands Full Assist Mode beyond low-level quests. It now works in Maniac, Proud, Chaos+, Fatebreaker-grade missions, and throughout The Conflux. Assist handles combat automatically—including perfect guards and dodges against most bosses—while you manage routing and buff picks between stages.

RPG Site's launch review noted Full Assist feels very strong in solo play, effectively automating boss pattern learning. For farming purposes, this is a feature: repetitive material grinds no longer demand full attention.

Conflux Idling Behavior Setup

Enable two settings before unattended Conflux farming:

  1. Full Assist Mode — automates combat during stages
  2. Conflux Idling Behavior — auto-selects progression choices between stages without input

Once both are active, enter a Conflux portal and the game progresses through surveys with minimal intervention. A full automated Conflux run takes roughly 40 minutes depending on team DPS and cycle tier—longer than a manual 20-minute clear but fully hands-off.

Check back every 10 repeated quests to restart the farming cycle if the game idles out. Use a free Backup Character as an extra DPS slot when available.

Best Characters for AFK Farming

  • Eustace: Community favorite for unattended Conflux—mobile ranged DPS with reliable AI skill usage
  • Gallanza: Forgiving melee loops; White Wolf Gauge clears without precise inputs
  • Cagliostro: Adds healing and revives when your team needs sustain during long AFK sessions

Prioritize DPS stats over defensive investment for AFK builds—Assist Mode handles survivability through automated perfect guards. Pair with offensive Auras from our Aura guide.

AFK vs Active Farming

Active manual runs complete Conflux surveys in ~20 minutes with optimal Aura picks and routing. AFK runs trade speed for convenience—ideal overnight or work-session farming. Cycle 2–4 remain the best AFK targets for Chaos Refinium, Mythic Artifacts, and Transcendence materials.

Assist Mode does not reposition your character during combat—only skills and AI behavior cause movement. Stationary farming builds benefit most. See Conflux strategies for active-play optimization.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Assist Mode work in Chaos co-op?

Full Assist is primarily a solo convenience feature. Co-op parties use normal player-controlled combat with standard matchmaking rules.

Can I AFK farm Chaos quests?

Full Assist now supports Fatebreaker and Chaos+ solo quests, but Conflux with Idling Behavior is the most efficient unattended route.

Why does my AFK run stop?

Game may idle out after extended periods. Restart every ~10 quests and ensure Conflux Idling Behavior is enabled in Settings.
