Beatrix Gameplay Guide

Master Beatrix Delta Clock modes, Devour Causality combos, and aggressive melee gameplay in Endless Ragnarok.

Beatrix Overview

Beatrix is an elite Society agent wielding the seal weapon Embrasque. She debuted as the first revealed Endless Ragnarok character and appeared in both closed and open beta tests. As an aggressive close-range fighter, Beatrix rewards players who enjoy high-risk, high-reward melee combat with exceptional mobility.

Delta Clock Mechanic

Beatrix's core system is the Delta Clock, a rotating dial that determines buff outcomes when pressing unique attack. Clock positions grant attack boosts, defense buffs, or healing depending on hand position. Skilled players deliberately charge the clock to land desired buffs before committing to combos.

Hold triangle (on PlayStation) or equivalent unique attack input to charge, then release at the desired clock position. The attack boost at 12 o'clock is the most commonly prioritized for burst windows.

Devour Causality Mode

When the clock fully charges, activate Devour Causality to drain clock charge in exchange for increased attack speed and enhanced combo potential. During this mode, Beatrix gains additional follow-up attacks after combos and skills, enabling sustained automatic assault strings. This is where her highest DPS lives, but the mode consumes resources that also sustain survivability buffs.

Build Recommendations

Invest in critical rate sigils and weapons that boost unique attack damage. Master Traits leaning Essence amplify her burst windows. She pairs well with supports who can cover her during Devour Causality commit phases. Not beginner-friendly, but among the highest skill ceilings of the 29-character roster. Is Beatrix tank or DPS?

Both. She has defensive clock positions and agility evasion, but optimal play focuses on aggressive DPS through Devour Causality.

How does Beatrix compare to Lancelot?

Both are agile sword users, but Beatrix trades Lancelot's consistency for higher burst ceiling via Delta Clock RNG management.
