Weapon Transcendence Guide
How weapon Transcendence works in Endless Ragnarok: materials, Seofon/Tweyen/Sandalphon Eternal Splendor weapons, and Ultimate Memory forging.
What Is Weapon Transcendence?
Ver. 2.0.2 introduces Transcendence, a new upgrade tier that pushes fully maxed weapons beyond their previous ceiling. Every weapon type qualifies except bonus weapons (event or promotional gear). Transcendence integrates with existing forging—Wrightstones, Mirage Munitions, and Fortitude Crystals still matter for earlier tiers.
Creative Director Fukuhara noted that material drop rates were significantly elevated at launch, making Terminus and Transcendence farming much faster than base game endgame grinding. Fortified Hearth is now guaranteed from Excavallion chests, and Rafale Coin trades cost less.
Ultimate Memory and Terminus Forging
Ultimate Memory is a new treasure item from The Final Report and The Tale of Bahamut's Rage. Bring it to the blacksmith to forge Terminus weapons for base roster characters who lacked this tier previously. This retroactive upgrade path helps veterans enter Chaos with competitive gear on day one.
Legendary Merit costs for 5★→6★ uncap dropped from 5 to 2. Weapon awakening rupie costs also decreased across the board.
Seofon, Tweyen, and Sandalphon New Weapons
Three returning favorites receive Stinger and Terminus-tier weapons in Endless Ragnarok. Unlock requirements tie to Conflux cycle progression:
| Type | Weapon | Character | Required Treasure |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stinger | Spada di Vento | Seofon | Chaos Refinium (Conflux Cycle 2) |
| Stinger | Hercules | Tweyen | Chaos Refinium (Conflux Cycle 2) |
| Stinger | Sword of Michael | Sandalphon | Chaos Refinium (Conflux Cycle 2) |
| Terminus | Sword of Eternal Splendor | Seofon | Mythic Artifact (Conflux Cycle 4) |
| Terminus | Bow of Eternal Splendor | Tweyen | Mythic Artifact (Conflux Cycle 4) |
| Terminus | Efes | Sandalphon | Mythic Artifact (Conflux Cycle 4) |
Seofon, Tweyen, and Sandalphon can now unlock with 2 normal crewmate cards instead of special cards—a major QoL change from Ver. 2.0.2.
Seven Transcendence Levels and Trait Swap
Each weapon supports seven Transcendence levels. The first level transforms a level-150 maxed weapon into a Transcendent weapon with a massive stat jump—immediately outperforming Ascension and Terminus tiers. Levels 2–7 require progressively rarer materials from Chaos quests and Conflux Cycle 4 surveys.
Transcendence also unlocks trait swapping on the weapon. Preview available traits before committing materials—you can replace less useful passives with stronger options while keeping the same weapon base. Not every trait is swappable; the preview screen lists eligible replacements per weapon type.
Access unlocks after completing the Chaos rank-up quest and beginning Endless Ragnarok story content. Cycle 4 Conflux farming alone supplies enough materials for Transcendence levels 1–3 on a main weapon.
Transmarvel Vouchers and Farming Routes
Level 100 characters now earn Transmarvel vouchers whenever they gain enough XP for a level-up. Spend one voucher per Transmarvel reroll to optimize sigil sub-stats. Combined with sigil transmutation (up to 100 at once) and trait filtering, build optimization is dramatically faster post-launch.
Best farming routes: Conflux Cycle 2 for Chaos Refinium, Cycle 4 for Mythic Artifact, Chaos quests for rare transcendence materials. Alternate Conflux surveys with Chaos first-clears for balanced progression. See Conflux rewards for cycle-specific drop tables.

Where do I get Chaos Refinium?
Conflux Cycle 2 surveys. Progress through Hard and Maniac quests to unlock deeper cycles.
