Farm Ultimate Memory for Terminus weapon forging: Bahamut's Rage drops, Final Report rewards, blacksmith costs, and priority order for all 23 base characters.
What Ultimate Memory Does
Ultimate Memory is a new treasure item introduced in Ver. 2.0.2. Bring it to the blacksmith to forge Terminus weapons for the 23 base Relink characters who previously capped at Executioner or lower tiers. Each Terminus forge costs 10 Ultimate Memory plus standard rupies and prerequisite weapon tiers.
This retroactive upgrade path lets veterans skip months of old endgame farming. New expansion characters (Beatrix through Fediel) receive Stinger and Eternal Splendor routes instead—see our Eternal Splendor weapons guide for Arcarum Stinger and Mythic Artifact forging.
How to Farm Ultimate Memory

No Conflux or Chaos quest currently drops Ultimate Memory at launch. Focus Bahamut's Rage (Proud) after clearing The Final Report for steady income. Pair runs with Assist AFK farming if your build clears comfortably under Full Assist rules.

Terminus Forge Requirements
Before spending Ultimate Memory, confirm the character's weapon meets blacksmith prerequisites:
- Weapon must reach its previous maximum tier (typically Executioner uncapped)
- Pay 10 Ultimate Memory per Terminus forge at the blacksmith
- Additional rupies and materials scale with weapon type—check the forge preview before committing
- After Terminus, push Weapon Transcendence up to seven levels for Catastrophe Nova and Unbound Master traits

Forge Priority for Launch Week
Tier 1 (forge first): Main DPS characters you control in Chaos—Sandalphon, Eugen, Beatrix, Zeta, and Cagliostro cover most solo Conflux and Chaos++ setups per our AI party guide.
Tier 2: Support and Summon gauge builders—Katalina, Ferry, Rosetta, and Io accelerate co-op Primal Burst chains.
Tier 3: Bench and flavor picks. Ultimate Memory income from Bahamut's Rage (5 per run) means two full clears fund one Terminus—budget accordingly before over-investing in off-meta characters.
Do not confuse Ultimate Memory with Mythic Artifacts (Eternal Splendor) or Chaos Refinium (Stinger). Each material tier gates a different weapon line.
